How to create a custom course with Course Builder

To start creating a new course, navigate to Course Builder by clicking on SMLearn and selecting Course Builder from the dropdown menu.

To start creating a new course, click the Create Course button.

You will now be taken to the summary page of your new course under the tab Course. In here, you will be able to fill in your course's name and description, and add the language(s) and icon for your course.

• Course Title: Give your new course a name.
• Course Description: Provide an overview of your course to help users know what it's about.
• Source Language: The language you want your course to be in.
• Additional Language(s): Any other languages users can select for the course.
• Course Icon: Choose an icon from the course by following the link below the text box and type the name of the icon in the field.
• Randomise Answer Order: Enable this to make the order of answers random.
• Randomise Question Order: Enable this to make the order of questions random.

You will be able to edit these at any time by returning to the course summary page, so don't worry if you make a mistake or want to change them later!

Once you have finished filling in the course summary, click Create Course at the bottom of the page.

Congratulations, you have just created a custom course!
