How to install the Phish Alert Button for Gmail
Learn how to install the Phish Alert Button in Gmail for your domain and for specific organizational units.
The Gmail Phish Alert Button (PAB) add-on enables users to quickly report suspicious emails directly from their Gmail accounts.
Note: You will need Super Administrator permissions in your Google Workspace account to install the Gmail PAB add-on.
- Log in to your Google Workspace Admin account.
- Navigate to Menu > Apps > Google Workspace Marketplace apps > Apps List.

Click Install App.
In Google Workspace Marketplace search for SiberMate “Phish Alert Button”. Click here to access it directly.
Click Admin install > Continue. Note: Individual install is for when you want to install an app for your admin account only.
A pop-up window will open. Click Continue to follow the prompts and click the tick box to agree to the terms of service.
To install the app for everyone in your organization:
- Select Everyone at your organization

Click Finish.
To install the app only for certain users:
- Select Certain groups or organizational units and click Next.
- Select the organizational units and groups that you want to install the app for.
- Click Select.
- Click Finish.
After you have installed the PAB add-on and enabled the PAB for Gmail in SiberMate, your users will see the PAB in the toolbar on the right side of the page in their Gmail mailbox.
If users are not seeing the PAB add-on in their Gmail toolbar, make sure PAB for Gmail has been enabled in the SiberMate platform.
