- What the differences between SMBreach and SMBreach Pro are
- How SMBreach works
- What the key features of SMBreach are
What is SMBreach?
SMBreach is a breach exposure scanning tool that enables you to quickly identify exposed employee email accounts and identities that have been publicly disclosed online via third-party data breaches.
With billions of credentials present in data dumps, paste sites and hacking forums, employees that sign up to third-party services with their work email address could be leaving your organisation at huge risk of social engineering, business email compromise (BEC) and other damaging attacks.
What can I do with SMBreach?
SMBreach allows you to...
- Identify exposed employee accounts. SMBreach identifies accounts that are exposed on paste sites, data dumps and hacking forums
- Locate what employee data is exposed. Common data includes email addresses, passwords, usernames etc.
- Help prevent data loss. Locating these at-risk accounts enables you to safeguard users from social engineering and BEC attacks
- Obtain actionable steps. SiberMate's security awareness training feature, SMLearn, enables follow-up user training on security best practice
What's the difference between SMBreach and SMBreach Pro?
SMBreach gives you a great way to begin monitoring breaches during the trial period. When you are a paid client and require SMBreach, we will enable the SMBreach Pro for you automatically. SMBreach Pro provides a number of features to help you dig into existing breaches, get notified of new breaches when they are discovered, and keep track of which breaches you've taken steps to address.

How does SMBreach work?
Here's what happens behind the scenes of SMBreach.
- Step One: We conduct a scan of the deep web, including searches through data dumps, paste sites and hacking forums to find new breaches and exposed credentials.
- Step Two: We identify your users that have been involved in breaches, and record which personal information they have had exposed.
- Step Three: Your users' results are collated into an easy-to-digest report, accessible from your SiberMate dashboard.
- Step Four: You can take action to mitigate further breaches of your organization by notifying breached users and taking action.
What are the key features of SMBreach?
The main features of SMBreach include...
- Quick web search enables you to rapidly identify exposed accounts
- Gathers high-level data (i.e., number of exposed accounts & source of breach) neatly into your SiberMate dashboard
- View each user's exposed data breakdown from their SiberMate's profile
